Alex is back on tour and he win his 1st match this week. He beat fellow Brit Matthew Illingworth 7-6 7-6. Good strat to his comeback. In the 2nd round though he lsot to Claudio Grassi 6-1 6-1 A long way to go before he's back to his best.

He has won two futures this year but aside from that his results have been very poor (only amassing 9 points). Also worth baring in mind that the one of the futures he did win (GB F11) was played on appalling courts which one player described as unfit for club tennis and like playing in your back garden. The top 4 seeds all lost in the first round and Alex didn't play a single top 500 player. He also had a fairly soft run in his other futures win.
