Re: Benjamin Becker

Benni was awarded Newcomer of the year at ATP.
congrats Benni !!

from ATP web site.
In his first season at ATP level, Becker made the biggest jump of any player in the Top 100 from the previous year, climbing 419 ranking positions to end the year at No. 58. He won nine ATP-level matches (despite not making his debut until Halle in June) and compiled a record of 30 wins and 15 losses in Challenger play. In his second Grand Slam appearance he reached the fourth round of the US Open, ending Andre Agassi's career in the third round.

this is the video.

Re: Benjamin Becker

Benni won 7-6(4) 6-2 against Thomas Johansson in Monte Carlo.
This is the first winning at MS! and he has won since 2 months.
of cource, Benni likes to play on hard court mach better than clay.
but keep going!
He faces to Tomas Berdych next match. it is better than Almagro.
good luck Benni !!

Re: Benjamin Becker

not bad, lets see if he can also win against the winner of Tursunov/Hernandez! Two wins in a main event on clay would be something rare for him

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Re: Benjamin Becker

Benni lost to 3-6 7-6(2) 3-6 against Oscar Hernandez.
It took over 3 hours.
It is sad loosing the match, but he took 1 set and had really close match against a clay specialist like Hernandez.
I wish Benni pass 1st round minimum on RG.

Re: Benjamin Becker

Benni sign on a three-year contract by clothing line "Boris Becker.
this is brom his HP.

Thursday, May 17, 2007
Two generations of German tennis join to form an unbeatable team!
Renaissance Tennis Management is proud to announce the new sponsor of their Number One player Benjamin Becker: At the Masters tournament in Hamburg Benjamin signed a 3-year contract with his long time idol Boris Becker to endorse his new clothing line "Boris Becker".

"With his amazing success in his first year on the ATP tour year, being named the ATP Newcomer of the year and sharing the same initials "BB", Benni is the perfect testimonial for this new clothing line", says Norman Canter, founding partner and Managing Director of RTM.

Because of the famous and legendary initials "BB", Benjamin was always asked if there is any relationship between him and Boris. Until now, Benni had to negate this question: "It is like a dream come true", says Benjamin. "I started playing tennis because of Boris when I was a little kid. Now, I'm wearing his name on my shirt, when I walk out on the court. I'm feeling very honored".

and 1 moer.
The German team braved a mid-air lunch Tuesday, taking in the spectacular view from a dining table suspended*50 metres above Duesseldorf.
isn't fearful?
Benni、all German members were smailing.
