and Space Cadet

And thanks for remembering me when you took that 'butt' pic but I'm not obsessed with Rainer's butt as alfonso

Rainer was probably thinking about his AO match vs Soderling this year when he was playing those match points. The good run in TMS MC definitely helped him pulled himself together to finish off the match.

Re: The Rainer Schuettler Cheering Thread

Glad you liked the pics, Lee!
Yeah, I'm sure he was thinking about the disaster in Melbourne while trying to close out the match on Tuesday. Plus he was maybe a bit nervous because he was in front of his home crowd. He was starting to get really ticked off out there at all the missed chances, doing the usual yelling at himself, even throwing his racket on the ground. Then he was broken by a truly awful double fault, the ball wasn't anywhere near inside the line!
Maybe he just wanted to stay out there a bit longer, drag out the torture a bit

Why shouldn't you be butt-obssessed?
Great win

Davydenko is always dangerous. Good luck, Rainer

Somehow I had the feeling that he would lose today so it's not that sad for me.

Too bad all Germans are out now.

It's good in the way that he'll have more rest before the TMSs in Roma and Hamburg. And don't get bee sting anymore

Re: The Rainer Schuettler Cheering Thread

No shame loosing against Davydenko, but Rainer wasn´t there at all in the first set. And in the second he was to passive most of the times when Davydenko was in trouble.

Re: The Rainer Schuettler Cheering Thread

If the first set had not been so easy for Davydenko I think Rainer would have won. But that's the way it goes

For the first pic, Rainer always does this before he serves. The photographer knows him well to capture the moment.

Re: The Rainer Schuettler Cheering Thread

Another disappointing tournament. Another tough loss of 5-7 in 3rd set. Where's his confident? And I hate the pattern of losing 1st set 1-6 or 2-6. He needs better preparation for a match and Dirk needs to do something about that.
