Rainer has been playing doubles with Chris Haggard ... unfortunately they have lost ... Riveroaks website is ... well ... can't find a word for that if I don't want to break forum rules ... know what I mean? .... let's wait and see for the Melzer-match ...
No Melzer-match - Melzer was injured and did not play. So next opponent is Victor Hanescu from Romania!! A little bit of luck at last? Can't believe it ....
The classic case of loosing a close set and giving up then? What a pity!! OK Rainer, come home for Easter! Have a break, prepare for the clay season and play Munich at your best!!!
 Rainer will play Melzer (who withdrawn with injury) again in Houston (not exhibition this time). And if he makes 2nd round, a potential rematch vs Hanescu.
I saw him in Indian Wells. :tears: Really can't pinpoint what's wrong with him. He just can't deliver when the point is on the line. His first serve won't go in. He will make UE. So on and so for. His game is still the same but may be half a step slower.
I have been to Munich from Monday to Thursday. Rainer was playing very well in the doubles and also in his single match against Nieminen. In this match he had some bad luck in the big points but it was a very close and tough match. It was 2 players on the same high level. If Rainer can go on like this he will make his way back for sure.
Here are some photos from the Nieminen match, form practrise on wednesday with Michael Kohlmann and from the doubles against Koubek/Rochus: BMW-Open 2007
How will he get into the top 100 with these results
