Hi matey,
I was a bit busy recently.

Well,as you all know Bjorn retired from the 1st qualifying round in Montecarlo.
He went back to Germany for the sake of treatment.Maybe he'll be okay.
Take care Bjorn.

Re: Björn Phau

Björn had a great week in Marocco
he defeated Seppi and had two must-wins then
he lost 26 46 to Massu, but he can be proud of himself. He reached semis in an ATP tournament for the first time!

keep going, Björn

I think it was the second time. Didn't he play semis in Tokyo last year?

Re: Björn Phau

Björn is really winning all the must-win matches this year. I think he has now 3 QF's and 1 SF in 2006 and he will stay in the top 100 easily once again.

But somehow he has no big reputation in Germany. I mean it's a fact that he's #3 in Germany at the moment, but he was never candidate for Wildcards and Daviscup, maybe because other players are more talented.

Alex Waske is also not a big talent and still got 7 wildcards in a row in German ATP tournaments.

You're right. But I am quite sure Björn will get a WC for Hamburg this time.

yeah, but Waske surely got the Daviscup bonus and the people like him very much. He is an outgoing character and has the ability to push the crowd. Phau is a constant player but he hasn't the reputation, Alex has yet. And he gets into the maindraw often without the need of a WC.

well, not me

I think Björn deserves the WC's more than Waske at the moment
but if Björn keeps on winning the matches he has to win, he will be able to get into main draws without needing wild cards

I think it a shame. Bjorn is an aggressive player, also he has storng mental.
So I think he is a good player for Daviscup and German.
Why he has no big reputation is no talent some people say, but is that all? Just in my opinion,is there some kind of prejudice toward him? I mean I'm just worried about prejudice to mixed asian race.I mean sometimes mixed race especially asian get involved trouble.I hope he doesn't recieve about that from local tennis association.
Sorry serious opinion.

Anyway we hope he'll play well and to be the top of Germany!!

no, definitely no problem
its just because some people think we have to thank Waske forever for what he did once at Davis Cup and AWTC
