Re: Philipp Petzschner

Yeah Philipp just beat Berdych in 3 sets! He played very bad in 1st but in 2nd and 3rd he played awesome.

Federer |Söderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

Re: Philipp Petzschner

He should be 1st and 3rd on center court tomorrow. I will miss the matches, so I hope tennislive.tv will save them. At least they have some matches in the archive from other tournament they showed this year.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

I think it's his best win since I've been following him.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

I've been wanting to wake up to watch this match this morning but I slept thru and missed it. May I ask if anyone has saved the stream that you can share? Just wondering. Now that weekend is here, I for sure will be able to get up early for tomorrow's match. Good luck to Philipp.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

I didn't record it unfortunately, Lala, I thought tennislive.tv would have it in their archive then, as they usually do. :-/
I'll record it today because they still have nothing. I asked them, but no answer yet.

I would love to see at least the MP and a couple of points again, have you seen anything somewhere, Jan? I searched in the videos on the Sport1 and Bayerischer Rundfunk websites, but I couldn't find anything.

I've only found the end of the Koellerer match ("2 crazy clowns on the court" ^^) on Youtube:

At least we can see his little celebration again.

His interview:

And they also asked Kohli in his interview about the fact that Philipp can't be on the German team anymore, Kohli confirms he wanted to have him on the team in Düsseldorf:

Re: Philipp Petzschner

It seems my recording didn't work, but I found the match disappointing anyway, even if there were some spectacular points. The scoreline makes it look more exciting than it was imo.
If somebody really wants to see it, I can try to fix and upload the files, though.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

The file of the 2nd set is working (more or less), does anybody remember what the scoreline was when there was that awesome point won by Philipp with loads of dropshots and counter dropshots? I'd like to rewatch it.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

I'd love to watch any part of his matches disappointing or not, but don't worry about it if it is too much trouble.

Paire, Benneteau, Gicquel

Fogna

Dolgopolov, Petzschner, Kamke, Malisse, Haase, Andujar, Riba

Re: Philipp Petzschner

I uploaded the 2nd set which kind of works in VLC for me. But the file is weird:

If it doesn't work, I'll try to convert it later.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

The point I was talking about is on Youzhny's serve, btw, 5-6 40-30.

They lost 6-1 7-6(3) in doubles.

He was really gutted after the match and thought it wasn't a very good match - the article says it shows how demanding he was with himself today and everybody told him after the match that the 2nd set was awesome, on the contrary. It actually shows he's more lucid than them!
He says he probably wanted it too much, he was nervous and put himself too much under pressure.
At least he was able to compete with a top 15 player even without playing his best tennis, it's encouraging.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

Why does he always lose to the old Kohlmann?

Really good draw for him in Madrid if you look at the road to QF. Nice to see that he is also in the doubles draw.
