I think he will play the French Open doubles with Kas. Their combined ranking is 146 (Petzschner 71 + Kas 75) and this could be enough to get in the main draw.

I don't know what he'll do after that, but normally he should play Halle and s'Hertogenbosch quali - for Wimbledon quali his ranking is probably too bad.

Of course I hope for a WC in Halle, but it never happenend before.

In doubles he hasn't so many points to defend for the next few months, so I hope he can reach the top 50.

French Open doubles draw should be on Tuesday afternoon.

Re: Philipp Petzschner

Kas/Petzschner led 6-2 *5-4 (40-30) and (AD-40) and got broken. Then they broke back to 15 and got broken again. What a damn way to lose in a Grand Slam tournament. Then of course they lost it all. The same happened in Munich few weeks ago. Get a new partner.

1R (13)Dlouhy/Vizner d. Kas/Petzschner 2-6 7-6(3) 6-4 saved 2 mps

Um, how did you know it was Kas' fault? Petzschner is a notorious headcase and likes to do stupid things in crucial situations.

I'm pretty sure several rackets got broken there.

Of course it wasn't only Kas' fault, but based on the few live streams I have seen this year and their career results, Petzschner seems to be the better player and they got hardly broken when Petzschner served.
He also has a 7-0 career record with Alex Peya, that's a partner I would like to see.
