Finally he could win a match against Goffin 6-4 6-2

Probably next against Berdych. Does his best

Really straightforward and nice win . He's usually a bad match-up for Berdych, but the Czech is playing great.

Flo is on an ATP QF , 2nd win of the year vs Goffin, this time in three. Huge chance for a Sf showing, he plays Hanescu on the QF's.

Re: Florian Mayer Cheering Thread

He could have win against David twice in this year

But next opponent Hanescu will be tough for him. He played well against Youzhny and Bucharest is his home game

Good win against Hanescu Next is GGL who defeated Zeballos and Tipsy in tight sets.

Disappointing loss yesterday, but at least he seems to be moving in the right direction. I hope he gives his best in Munich, he has a really good draw to make the QF's, as he plays a Q on R1 and Matosevic/Krawietz on R2. QF would be much tougher, vs Haas/Gulbis/Nieminen.

Yes. Matosevic on clay is very winnable and he must win. QFs of anyone is very tough for him

Clay season seems to be pumping him, he's won at least two matches in his 3 clay events [ MC, Bucharest & Munich] and he now plays Haas, who should be too much for him, but we never know with Flo.

Re: Florian Mayer Cheering Thread

He got destroyed against Haas Obviously Tommy is terrible match-up for him and he has never taken any sets.

Re: Florian Mayer Cheering Thread

Madrid draw
R1 Bellucci
R2 Murray

Hopefully he can past 1R but Thomaz on clay is tough match.

I think he can beat Bellucci, they played on clay in Madrid in 2011, and it was close ( 67 63 30 RET for Thomaz), and I think Flo will make things tough for Bellucci, a player who doesn't like variety. Also, I want him to play a top player again.
