I tried to copy the photo, but imagelocation doesn't work for the website which I tried to pull the picture from. You should be able to find his pictures, at yahoo or google image search, keyword Stephane Bohli.

Unfortunately steph got his back problems again and retired in the 2nd round of the rome challenger. He'd also had to retire in the quarters of the chiasso challenger 2 weeks ago!

Hopefully he'll get better soon cos he really deserves to get higher ranking and be part of the swiss davis cup team!

He's been playing very well lately!

Get better Steph!!! :)

Hi there,

I haven't given any info on steph for a while!

After rome, bohli took part in the qualies of san remo challenger and portschach but didn't manage to get to the MD. He then played the wimbledon qualies where he beat troicki in the 1st round in 2 straight sets before losing to bolelli. After that very short grass court season he played the reggio emilia challenger where he defeated montcourt in 2 straight sets before losing to julio silva. He lost in the 1st round of montauban challenger to coutelot but then reached the semis of oberstaufen challenger where he lost to tabara. He played another 2 challengers, rimini and recanati where he lost 1st round. Afterwards he played for the eaux-vives tennis club, Geneva for almost one month where he won all his matches but one. Now he is in NY. He won his 1st round of the usopen qualies against youing and talented lukas lacko. Unfortunately, he just lost in the 2nd round to kristian pless (2-6 7-5 5-5 RET) after retiring for I guess another back problem... what a shame! I hope he'll be fine soon and be able to play challengers to get more ATP points and get into the top 200 by the end of the year!

Hopefully steph will also be part of the swiss davis cup team in a month since he'll probably be n°4 swiss player next week!!!

So bohli is now back on track!!!

After what was a hip problem, bohli came back to competition. He played the qualies of the kolding challenger where he lost 2nd round to a very good jan minar who qualified after beating geaorge bastl in the last round!

After that challenger, bohli took part to the qualies in basel where he lost to clemens (who qualified for the main draw) first round after leading with one set. He also played the doubles in the main draw (thanks to a WC) with wawrinka where they reached the quarters.

Now, steph is playing the louisville challenger where he's already beaten kuznetsov (ATP 220) and capdeville (ATP 147) both in 2 straight sets!

Today he will play 1st seed dancevic (ATP 84) for a semi-finals spot!!!

Come on steph, go and win the title!!! :)

Ok, now that I can post again, here I go! :)

So, stephane played his first challenger final sunday in louisville after a great run. He beat very good players such as 1st seed dancevic (ATP 82), 4th seed bozoljac (ATP 136), 6th seed capdeville (ATP 149) before losing the final to 3rd seed delic (ATP 123) in 3 sets. Because of this great run, steph is now ranked ATP 218, his best ranking ever!

Presently he is playing in nashville where he will be able to pick some more points!!! :)

Congratulations steph and keep the good work!

Strange things happen sometimes in tennis. After a great run in louisville steph went to nashville and lost in 2 straight sets 7-5 6-4 to... WC preston ATP 1428 a guy who had never beaten a player ranked in the top 1000 before!!! :(

I really wonder what happened?

Is steph so tired he can't beat a player ranked out of the top 1000. Did he tank the match? Is he a little injured or sick? Does he want to get back to europe as soon as possible?

Too bad, he missed a good opportunity to get some more points and money before the end of the season! :(

Good luck for your last tournament nervertheless steph!

stephane played for the french interclubs with grenoble tennis and won all his single matches beating good players:

def. konstantinos economidis (ATP 120) 6-3 7-6
def. jean-rené lisnard (ATP 294) 6-3 2-6 7-6
def. lamine ouahab (ATP 172) 6-1 6-2
def. viktor troicki (ATP 210) 6-4 6-4

Who he already had beaten this year by the way!

economidis and lisnard (despite his current ranking) are quite good players as well and to trash ouahab this way is quite good too!

I think stephane should be around the top 100 according to his results this year! If he stays healthy he will get there quite quickly I think.

Best of luck to him!!! :)

Here is a video when he won the future in france early this year beating darcis in the final.

You cannot see much of his game but he has an attack game. His game is very fluid.

He'll probably part of the davis cup team in february and depending on the score he might even play the 5th match. He's only played 16 tournaments this year and mostly played on clay whereas it is not his best surface although he's an all round player!

Hmm, well I saw Minar on clay and he was very poor. Montcourt is overrated, in my opinion. George, unfortunately, is too inconsistent :D

Muñoz de la Nava... Well I haven't seen him play, but I am guessing he is not really good ;) I confuse him all the time with Jose Sanchez de Luna, but I have seen him :p

Kuznetsov  Yeah, that is a good win ;) I saw Alex for the first time at Wimbledon 2004 :) Juniors.

Unfortunately, the win over Capdeville is not that good. Paul's results at the end of this year are beyond horrible. Bozoljac is nice to beat ;)
