Re: 2011 Big 12 Tournament

It is a great conference because its so small. There ware no fluff teams that are sure wins. This will be a very competitive tournament. 5 teams could win it

Paradorn Srichaphan
Kei Nishikori, Donald Young, Somdev Devvarman, Dustin Brown, Steve Johnson, Yannick Maden
Robert Farah, Clement Reix, Alexander Dolgopolov, Nathan Thompson

Yeah. Baylor managed to go undefeated in regular season conference play but many of those decisions were 4-3.

Re: 2011 Big 12 Tournament

My pick is Texas A&M. Baylor just edged them at home but I think A&M is ready to win this tournament.

Re: 2011 Big 12 Tournament

Oklahoma takes doubles point over Texas Tech. It will be very hard for The Red Raiders to win now because of their lack of depth

Re: 2011 Big 12 Tournament

Texas won 4-3 in a really early season tilt. I expect A&M to take it. They are tougher at the top and are frankly more talented.

Re: 2011 Big 12 Tournament

Baylor up 3-2 on Oklahoma. Could have sealed the deal on 6 but Mihov is fighing to hold of Lengsfeld. Court 1 also still playing. Belelu leading Peers

edit: Beleleu def Peers 6-3 in 3rd.

Mihov and Lengsfeld must be having one helluva tie-break.

Re: 2011 Big 12 Tournament

Baylor losing the doubles point cost them. I think they won most of the regular season ones.

Oklahoma has to take the doubles point to win tomorrow.

Re: 2011 Big 12 Tournament

Texas A&M wins the Big 12!

This will probably move them up to #5 in the national rankings and a dangerous matchup for whoever is #4. Oklahoma was obviously weary from their epic win over Baylor. Very clutch team as Mihov was able to get it done in the end again. But A&M did not get their best shot. Oklahoma will be dangerous come tourney time as well.
