Yep, that's Mathieu Montcourt and his lovely pink shirt.

As for the Pope, we don't really learn that either here (at least in France, many people take religion classes in Germany and it might be different, but religion is kept out of the education in France). But we see him quite a lot in the media, so it's normal for us to know that.

Re: Bla-bla-bla chat thread of the Guille Addicts

yay, i'm back and rome was great! so many things to see, it's a shame i couldn't stay longer, but uni starts tomorrow....

by the way, the pope is more a football fan than a tennis fan, though there are two tennis courts in the vatican city. and yes, santi, he is roman catholic

Re: Bla-bla-bla chat thread of the Guille Addicts

Did you know that Guille still is in the advertising of the Tennis Channel?
It is pretty nice to see him there because that gives you the feeling that they didn't give him up either.

...desperately waiting for Guillermo Coria to come back...

Been a while again since I've been here. Just a to you the guille-fans. I didn't forget about you, regularly check the forum on news. But I usually spend my time in other forums, to post. Hope all is fine!
Can't wait to Guille returning. Have to admit that lately I'm a bit forgetting about Guille but once he's back I'll cheer for him as before

Nice to see you again
We didn't get the chance to discuss Ajax destroying PSV
Guille will make sure and remind you about him when he comes back

Re: Bla-bla-bla chat thread of the Guille Addicts

oh damn I didn't realize there was someone who wanted to discuss that with me, it was so great (sadly PSV is still 2 points in the lead so will most prolly become champions)
I've been checking if I missed a come back once in a while, but so far I didn't miss anything. As soon as he's on draws again, i'll for sure think about him again. He's worth it!

Edit: tho now a few days later all is different. I doubt if I'll survive next weeks sunday with the last round of matches and 3 teams with the same number of points

Go Ajax I really dislike PSV and AZ.

How do Holland deal with such a situation if 3 teams finish on the same points?

AZ is nice, I dislike their coach, but the team is great and it's nice that they can achieve this.

They look first at difference in goals, that's why AZ will most prolly be champion as they got a big (6 goals) advantage to the others. If that's the same, first check who made most goals (That would be either Ajax or AZ in advantage to PSV) and I think last option, but the chance that there isn't a difference in the other two is really small, would be checking the matches they played each other... there is a big chance that 2 teams are disappointed for having the same amount of points as the champion (I am so nervous already for the coming last round of matches, this sunday )

Celtic lost the league a few years ago on goal difference and i can tell you how much that hurts .
I think head to head record or a playoff match (kinda hard with 3 teams) is a better idea. They do that in Italy
As for your rep, well, i'm not exactly a fan of Ajax in Holland, though i like them. My favourite team is Vitesse or Ajax. Nowadays i like Breda as i believe it's where Glen Salmon plays (i preferred when he was at Groningen)

We're just talking football (we're not all football fans i recall )
Anyone with anything going on in life? I have exams coming up

Yeah I think it'll hurt indeed, losing that way. but I'm already happy when PSV doesn't win I would say H2H would best choice, but that would make it hard with 3 teams as well, AZ has better H2H to Ajax, Ajax better than PSV and PSV better than AZ . and play-offs are like almost impossible in our league, you know, because there are already play offs for those who fight for going into europe.
I know you are not a fan, but at least you cheer for them over AZ and PSV and I appreciate that. Breda... I only cheer for them coz officially I live in that city

Ah yes... sorry for interrupting and talking about soccer

My life is a bit boring atm, I am mostly looking forward to the end of may and beginning of june as I have some tennis tournies to visit then (Düsseldorf, Halle and 's Hertogenbosch for those who wanna know which)

I tried that; it works with Canas (i'm to lazy to put a tilde over the "n"), so I can follow him. But it's NBA PLAYOFFS BABY!!! LET'S GO PHEONIX, LET'S GO!!!! *clap clap*

Someday, we'll all be free.
