Re: Guille videos

There is a short video about Guille at the US Open in the video section of the ESPN website:
"El Mago embrujado"
http://espndeportes.espn.go.com/

The direct link of the video if you have FLV Player or a similar program installed on your computer:
http://seavideo-att.espn.go.com/moti...rtes_Coria.flv
But it's just a few seconds anyway, it only shows the doctors and his worried face when he has to retire.

Here are a few screenshots (somebody told me he/she couldn't open the video), you don't see much more in the video:

Re: Guille videos

Great, thanks, I probably would have missed it.
I must say Diego looks better than in pics, I didn't recognize him first.

But I don't get the point of the story either, I need help too!

(And concerning your post in the other thread about Garcia, that's perfect if you noticed it without knowing he's his "official big buddy" on the tour, it means we can trust your impressions when you're reporting from tournaments then!)

Re: Guille videos

There is a video of an interview with Guille on the Fox website:
http://www.foxsportsla.com
It works only in IE for me, as usual (there are 2 parts: "El 2006 fue malo pero rescato cosas positivas" + "Esta bien que se mantenga el equipo de la Davis")

What does he say?

Re: Guille videos

I tried to upload the first part on Youtube, but the quality is not good, it's much better on the Fox website (+ it's only the first part of the interview, I don't have the 2nd one):

Re: Guille videos

The quality is better than the majority of YT videos, thanks!
Where do you click to see the videos on http://www.foxsportsla.com site?

"Ver todos los videos", "Todos los videos"... This Fox website is a pain in the ass. You can't give direct links to the videos, it's annoying as hell to record a video...

I finally managed to get the 2nd part too and I uploaded it on YT:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMEucmKXL6s

But the quality is even worse and there is a audio/video synchronisation problem, it's better to watch it on the other website.
They redirect me to http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/5359347 once i click on the link above, and there's no Coria videos on the main page's video selection. I guess they choose the selection depending on where you are located.

Thanks for the upload!

Long live Marat Safinenko. Amen.

Re: Guille videos

De rien!
He doesn't seem to say anything new, everybody is just discussing his look and the collar of his shirt on the French board too.
The DC loss in Slovakia was a tough one for his confidence, the FO final is not the reason of his "breakdown", etc.

Re: Guille videos

I just uploaded a better version of the 2nd part, I edited my last post.

Tanga felt pity for us and posted in the French forum what he says about Fed. First he says Fed is a monster from another planet, I think you got that part too, and then he explains that Fed was completely different when he was young, with platinum hair, David was beating him easily, he had no backhand, etc. The change in his attitude is incredible because he was somewhat crazy at the time. He is so impressive now blablabla. They all get tight when they have to serve out a match, but not Fed, and that's a huge advantage over the others.
So nothing new, but that helps to understand why he is laughing when he talks about Fed.

Re: Guille videos

I didn't see this video. I don't understand spanish at all, so it has no sense. But I think, that Guillermo is not fit in 100% probably because of problems with cervical vertebral column or right brachial plexus. That's why he says, that Nadal is the beast. Roger is very good player, probably the best in the world. So he can be called ,,the beast'' by Guillermo. But, what Guillermo could say about Slovaks or Przysiężny or Sabau or this american player ( I don't remember, who he was exactly ). Are they beasts too? I don't think so. Guillermo is not physically healthy. He should go to neurologist.
