Not basketball is not a big sport in Holland and football (like rugby etc) is not a big sport as well. On the other hand soccer is the biggest sport in Holland.
To play tennis, at least in the region where I live, there are quiet a lot of court but you've to play with a club if you want to play at those courts. But it's not too expensive. And I think when you really wanna play you can get on the courts without paying as well

Re: Guide to the Guille-forum

That's cool!
I play in school, it doesn't cost. But many time we are four people sharing one court!!
Too many people but few courts.

Voiceless it cries,
This thing all things devours:
Wingless flutters,
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Toothless bites,
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Mouthless mutters.
Grinds hard stones to meal;

Slays king, ruins town,

And beats high mountain down.
