lucho_coria wrote in the challenger section that he has won 6-2 6-0!

let's hope this is right.

Re: Aarhus R1: Coria vs Wedege

He won?! Oh that's great news even though Wedege is really low ranked that scoreline is very convincing, which is encouraging for me.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Well, this means very little in terms of his future. Hopefully it means a lot in terms of his confidence.

Re: Aarhus R1: Coria def Wedege 6-2 6-0

aMEN! ...i think there was some doubt in guille's head as to whether he could beat ANYONE 6-0 in a set. So even though it was like beating a club player, winning is a habit & you must at least feel like a win (especially a steamroll win) is in the realm of possibility, so this is superb. good going coria!

Heh, WOW @.@

So who's next? I read he is also playing doubles tomorrow. Hopefully he can win that too, and win (not "do well") his next singles match.

Vamos Guille.

Someday, we'll all be free.

Re: Aarhus R1: Coria def Wedege 6-2 6-0

there's a small review of his match at the official website. seems like guille is the big star of the tournament and his opponent speaks with full praise of him. today is the doubles match with rodriguez against klizan/nieminen (not jarkko).

i've also found a (very short) video clip of him practising in aarhus: http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=nQJoKlWmkJw
well, at least we can see that he's able to hit three serves in a row
