5th set tie break at Wimbledon? Today's Stats!

Is it a grand slam rule that there are no 5th set tie breaks? Or is that just a French Open thing?

Moodie has only been able to break Guille's serve once, and that was back in the 2nd set. Guille, on the other hand, has broken Moodie 3x. I think it would be to Guille's advantage if there's no 5th set tie break!

ESPN showed a little bit of the match on TV. It looked like a great "offensive" match. VERY clean from both players. Here are the stats:

1st serve:
Coria - 67%
Moodie - 69%

Aces:
Coria - 11
Moodie - 10

Double Faults:
Coria - 7
Moodie - 2

Winning % of 1st Serve:
Coria - 74%
Moodie - 79%

Winning % on 2nd Serve:
Coria - 73%
Moodie - 55%

Winners (including Service):
Coria - 52
Moodie - 49

Receiving Points Won:
Coria - 28%
Moodie - 27%

Break Point Conversions:
Coria - 3/10 - 30%
Moodie - 1/3 - 33%

Net Approaches:
Coria - 24/30 - 80%
Moodie - 53/83 - 64%

Total Points Won;
Coria - 136
Moodie - 130

Fastest Serve:
Coria - 125 MPH
Moodie - 127 MPH

Average 1st Serve Speed
Coria - 113 MPH
Moodie - 119 MPH

Average 2nd Serve Speed
Coria - 94 MPH
Moodie - 112 MPH

The USO is the only slam with a fifth set tiebreak.

does anyone else here hate rain yet? Guillermo has had to wait a couple of days now just to finish his first round match and tomorrow's weather isn't looking any better. and does anyone know if he injured his groin muscle when he slipped on the grass today? I heard he did.

true he does only need two points to win. But anything could happen now that they both had a little bit of rest. I think he'll win...as soon as play starts again.

He may have hurt his right groin muscle. I think he'll wear a groin support.

Someday, we'll all be free.

Koto! Welcome!

I hope he is nothing serious about that injury. I want to know, is it a matter to play with that groin muscle injury.
GG, you know he always wear a groin support, is it helpful?

I'd imagine that would be helpful. Hopefully Guillermo gets to play tomorrow.
