If Guille succeed to win the whole tournament is not too bad either, is it?

Vamos Guillermo!

Obviously i hope he can do really well, but we shouldn't expect too much especially with the draw. VAMOS!

true, with a draw like that - a virtual wimbledon of champions past - he better be careful where he walks. i dont mean to chuckle, but ...if he cant slice up this cast of motley characters, even without playing for a whole year, his future as a competitor is definitely in doubt, IMO. i mean...he's gotta start winning at SOME point, or its over, so this belo horizonte sure would be at the top of the list of places to start if you didnt want to get intimidated.

i ALWAYS admire your willingness to give a lot of credit to those top 200-300 tennis players, and it makes the accomplishments of being a top 10/top 5 potential player like coria that much more astounding -- but i dont think that he, unlike them, will keep playing if he's going to be at their level. So this #3 seed today is ranked 125, 2 of the top 3 seeds are argentinian so they should have natural coria-fear in their blood - so he better whoop ass!!!

Haaa, I knew it was gonna rain. I was like "hmm, it's cloudy today. Probably gonna rain in Brasil, too."
Sorry about that y'all

Someday, we'll all be free.

Re: Belo Horizonte - Guille other tiem in the courts.

he's on centre court tomorrow morning, right after the completion of the match delayed today in the 3rd set. guille always likes an early morning start so he doesnt have to think about his match all day, so he'll be happy with that...

Quadra central - 10h30
Diego Junqueira (ARG) vence Pablo Cuevas (URU), 4/6, 6/1 2/1
Juan Pablo Brzezicki (ARG) vs. Guillermo Coria (ARG)
Eric Prodon (FRA) vs. Thomaz Bellucci (BRA)
Mariano Puerta (ARG) vs. Pablo Andujar (ESP)

Of course his future is in doubt. His last match he lost to the current world number 696 (ok, he was 165 at the time), before that Sweeting, Przysiezny (to be fair, both by retirement) and before that got destroyed by Robin Vik.

If he comes back, even playing a lot better than he was, he'll still possibly struggle. Sure, if he comes back like the guy he was in 2003/04 then he will win it easily but after a year out, he's unlikely to play that well.

I want as much as anyone for him to win the tournament and ease past people like Bzezicki, i'm just not sure that he'll be able to. I hope you're right .

Vamos Guillermo
