Re: ~!! Guille in Paris !!~

oh yeah this is a weird part of that interview...

Q. When Andre Agassi lost today, he said the last time he felt very well is when he played against you.

GUILLERMO CORIA: Well, that's very kind of him. I wanted him to train with me. It wasn't not possible. He didn't want to.

I do think it gives me mental strength and it enables me to go on the court and play, like today, one of the best matches in my life.

Q. Did he say something to you?

GUILLERMO CORIA: No. Well, last year we had trained together, and before the draw I trained with him, and I realized that I could beat him. I found out about his weaknesses. This year he didn't want to repeat the experience. He wanted to wait for the draw.

Q. Was this one of the best matches of your life or the one you played against Agassi?

GUILLERMO CORIA: No, I meant the one I played against Agassi.

Q. But today's match was very good, as well.

GUILLERMO CORIA: Well, as far as this year's concerned, it's been one of my best matches. I've been playing very well. I was playing very good shots, very good serves. But that match against Agassi, apart from the first set, was spectacular.
-------------------------------
Guille is talking about last years RG. Andre was talking about the LAST match he played against him. At the Pacific Life Open.

Someday, we'll all be free.

Talking Re: ~!! Guille in Paris !!~

guille has down a good job again today. but I'm not happy because he has played this moning and I was at school !
I'm seeing the match between Olivier Mutis and Andy Roddick. Mutis is young and he plays very well (and he is French too ), Roddick is very very angry because of Mutis' good game (I'm not what I saiy is a very good english sentence )

Re: ~!! Guille in Paris !!~

Congrats Guille

I couldn't watch the match, but it looks like the 1st set was a tough one, I bet that it was because Mónaco is a guy that doesn't respect anyone (I'm saying this in a good way) and is quite agressive.

But good to know that Guille could handle it

Well Andy's not angry. He was playing like CRAP. He wasn't focused... he looked more focused while practising before the matches lol
Nah it was really painful to watch. He played sooooo bad.

Now as regards Coria, i didn't watch the whole match, just a lil part of the first set (And yes GG, i think everyone has a Hewitt inside LOL) and they were both playing amazingly well. Monaco was shooting some great balls and also was Coria. Of course, when Guille won the first set, Monaco started playing not that well you know... he was probably very dissapointed because he had played such a great first set and dispite of that he lost it.
Guille probably started playing even better. I can imagine that he gained a lot of confidence there so yeah, i can understand why Coria won lol Although i'm kinda sad that Monaco lost... well actually i'm kinda sad that they had to play against each other so early.. i was hoping Monaco would last untill 4th round... but well, draws are draws, we can't change em.

Go Mago! We wanna see u kickin some more asses!! lol

Well yeah i'm quite dissapointed... but you know, he wasn't concentrated, he was playing like sh*t to be honest so, he kinda deserved to lose unfourtunately.
I'm also really pissed at him cuz he said he's going to the US before going to London for Queens... I mean, Queens' only 10 from now! why's he going to the US? to spend what? 4 days there?... such a waste of time.

Anyway, I'm also sad that Justine lost. She was probably very sick and didn't feel well. It's very hard to make a physical activity with that kind of sickness, very dangerous.

And it's true that many seeded players have been defeated before reaching the 3rd round at least. But I'm sure Coria wont, don't worry
