Re: Wimbledon

Great Jurgen! Tursunov led with one break but and served for the set but Jurgen came back and won the set in Tiebreak.

jurgen will have to finish his singles and later play doubles tomorrow. I hope that is not to much for his back. Go Jurgen

Re: Wimbledon

I watched patches of the match and I quite enjoyed how Jurgen played. It wasn't great, but there were some very nice points.
His serve is still quite slow though, I think he still has a hurting back.

Re: Wimbledon

Yes! Jurgen won the fourth set in Tiebreak! Now against Malisse. I think this shouldn`t be a big problem for him. It`s great because Jurgen didn`t play a match before Wimbledon and Tursunov won the Unicef Open. I`m excited what he says about his back in the interviews.

Re: Wimbledon

Malisse won the first set in a tie break. I think it is going to be a tough match for Jurgen to win, but he can do it. Xavier has been playing very well recently. Jurgen will have to step it up in order to win. Go Jurgen

Re: Wimbledon

At the moment it is not looking good for Jurgen. He has lost the 2nd set. He needs to fight hard now. I cross my fingers he can come back from 2 sets down. Go Jurgen

Re: Wimbledon

I didn`t see much of the 3rd set but it ends with an awkward 0-6. Pity. I thought he could win this.

Re: Wimbledon

They only showed match point and then the score. Xavier has always been one of my favorites so I hope he goes a long way in the tournament now. I hope Jurgen's back is okay.
He is scheduled to play doubles later this afternoon.

Re: Wimbledon

The doubles match will be played on Monday. I see on the schedule he is also playing mixed doubles with Benesova (CZE).

Re: Wimbledon

Jurgen and Phillip won their doubles today and will play again later today. They are behind the rest of the doubles teams because of all the rain delays.

Jurgen won his first round mix doubes but I did not see his name on the schedule for today.

Re: Wimbledon

The Bryan twins ended Jurgen and Phillips hope to win again at Wimbledon. I feel reaching the quarter-finals was great. Jurgen is recovering from his back injury an Phillip is still suffering from the problem that made him withdraw at Rolland Garros., I am proud of how well they did.
