C'mon Monkey (the way Maria calls him jeje)!, I hope he gets a good draw.
He should have played Bogota, easy field and in Hard court

I really hope that he will get a good draw in Washington and make a good run. He has no points to defend in the US hard court season, so that will be his chance to make a move in the rankings

hello, new member of MTF here
there's no introduction thread for Dimi fan so I post here anyway.
here's hoping for a good run at HC. Would be good for him to get ranked at least 24 before US open (he would avoid top 8 in R3, right?)

him with Nielsen is what i like the most, but maybe Dimi kind of disappointed him at Wimby. Not complaining for Lldora though.

Hi, jammeblunt, welcome on board
About the doubles, i thought he's over with them and imo was the right decision, but Llodra sounds great so we'll see
And, btw, great thread name Can't waait for the hard!! It's my favourite surface and Grisho on hard will be epic

He only said he wouldn't play doubles at the slams. Playing doubles is a good idea as it helps develop his game, particularly ROS and volleys and it's something he should have done more, early in his career.

He's not interested in becoming a doubles specialist so it's natural for him to play with anyone who is available, hence the variety of partners.

yes, i know the advantages of playing dubs but still think that he cant show max of his play in singles while he's playing doubles...maybe i'm too impatient

He is in LA training, so I hope he can return to his level of play and win Washington!

Yep, from her social channel. Also Boo Boo is a nickname jeje

From this:

Same friend who saw #Sharapova and #Connors practicing yesterday at her club in LA also spotted #Dmitrov there today.

Re: Grass is for cows, we put the clay behind, bring on the HARD courts!!!

I do not follow Sharapova's social channels but here's an explanation by a user of the WTA forum regarding the 'Boo Boo' and 'Monkey' thing:
"I just saw it.. It goes like this. Adir asks her "so where's your little monkey today?" and Maria says "he is here, well not here, practicing" then Adir goes "not that little monkey" and Maria says "which one?" and Adir says "Dolce monkey".. etc. And on the screen it is written "Adir tends to confuse my pets and boyfriends.. accident?"

And as for the "boo boo" it is Adir asking her about him, reffering to him as boo boo...
"
