Re: *＊SE Open 2012＊*
Really, Grigor has to make the third round here. It will be hard to do, because I would back Chela over him should they play, but it's the type of draw a player like Grigor has to take advantage of. Hopefully he will do so.
It seems that everyone's in agreement that R3 is definitely a possibility. Hopefully his serve will carry him there. It's a pretty slow hard court, so it would not be surprising if he faultered earlier. Chela will be tough and a seasoned veteran - as long as he can keep the ball on his backhand side he should be alright. I would definitely like to see him take on Berdych again...a little payback for the Hopman Cup would be in order. Step 1 however, is beating Kukushkin.
Finally a good draw for Grigor! This is his biggest chance of getting a 3rd round in a masters he will ever get. If he doesn't take it I really start to doubt him. His play in IW will not do the job, so he has to raise his game substantially.
He's playing first on court 7 at 11am Miami time, that's 3pm UK time. Kukushkin beat Monfils and Troicki at the AO this year so he's no pushover but Grigor can definitely win this. He just needs to serve well and be aggressive.
