The real problem is that his ranking is sinking in quicksand...

Re: Grigor in 2012 (general)

The only positive ive seen in Grigor's game over the years is his fantasy backhand which is great every now and then.
The rest of his game is very very average.Maybe he should concentrate on getting the simple things right.Relax Grigor your not a star just yet.

I want Grigor to show his emotions on the court...to start shouting and be angry with his game....just to start showing he cares about what he is doing

Agree 100%.This new generation of tennis players have been taught to not show any emotion.I would love to see him show some passion and some heart. The last time i checked tennis was played between two opponents who are actually trying to defeat one another, not two mates having a friendly hitout.

Re: Grigor in 2012 (general)

predictable outcome. Grigor has not been playing that well lately. David even at 50% was way to much for grigor when he's not on his game

Re: Grigor in 2012 (general)

It's not the outcome which I find frustrating. It's the way he played. I agree that he definitely has to care about his performance and show some passion. Not sure if shouting and being angry is helpful, though, even if it looks more exciting to the audience. I mean, he used to have decent matches against top players but today his game was just awful and he didn't even fight which is the worst part.
I haven't seen the match against Dodig but how in the world did he win a match in straight sets just 2 days ago? I hope he gets his head back on quickly and plays some good tennis because those 64 minutes today simply sucked. Big time.

he won because dodig has been even worse than he has this year

I am not usually a fan of yelling or the racquet smash but some players need to do that to get the frustration out..
