Re: Grigor in Rotterdam

Order of play for tomorrow is out and Grigor is not playing. However, Cilic plays Zverev and Golubev gets Tursunov so Grigor will have to meet either Tsonga or Simon (will see when the draw finally gets updated).

Tsonga it is The Frenchman always has some fitness issues and that might aid Grigor, but he stands little chance. If he does then Davydenko/Llodra also look too much and then Berdych is another big obstacle. Hope for the better and hope we will see some video for his match.

Re: Grigor in Rotterdam

Well we can't expect easy draws from now on. The tournament has very strong names, it's not Johanessburg. If Grigor wants to progress he has to begin winning versus the big names. That's the only way.

Re: Grigor in Rotterdam

I agree with Bulgaria.

He'll get experience by playing with Top 30 opponents.

Re: Grigor in Rotterdam

If Grigor shows what is he capable off Tsonga won't be the person to stop him. Hopefully he will play his best tennis on tuesday and play a late match on center court for us to be able to watch it. I so believe he can win this match. The only thing does he believe in his own abillities? That's the main question.

Re: Grigor in Rotterdam

Tsonga isn't in good form. I guess Grisho - of course if he plays good - can win.

Never ever give up

Re: Grigor in Rotterdam

By the way, Grigor's chance of getting direct into the MD of Indian Wells is very big. According to his ranking, he's 8th in the qualifications, but I am sure he'll win enough points to reach Top 75, which will be enough. With a little bit luck, we'll see him playing his 1st ATP Masters Series match in March

As for tuesday's match, I think that the % of 1st serve in will be one of the key moments. Both Grigor and JoJo have good serves and on HC indoors, it's a great advantage. Grisha should try to play more on Tsonga's backhand and should try to get in more rallies, so he can make Tsonga nervous. All in all, I give 55% - 45% for Tsonga, but Grigor has a chance of winning this
