Ewwww, disgusting result. Blaz had that opportunity in the first set. Oh well, another wasted event in Germany. Hope Dustin wins this now.

Re: Week 45: Aachen, Germany [Entry List]

Kavcic is rubbish indoors, especially on a low bouncing carpet. He is trying to improve his game on other surfaces, has played a lot of tennis and come back from injuries.

Not a surprise Bemelmans is doing the business.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Is there something else you're doing besides crying all day long when all your "favourite" players losing in the early stages every single time? Whats disgusting about this? The clearly better player won... thats it. Ruben played some great tennis last week and he continues to do so this week... hoping for Kavcic to reach anything better than a 3rd round is just stupid. He should have lost to Kindlmann already.

True, but good that he kept the first set competitive and made the QF here, that alone shows he's improving.

Well said, I mean I'm a Kavcic man, but lets be honest he isn't suited to these conditions and far from surprising that Ruben wins comfortably,

flyboy, while quite intelligent is a drama queen as well.

Yes, if my favorites don't win than I could care less about the event and it's annoying and makes me unhappy. I don't care about Bemelmans, I care about Kavcic, so I'm not going to be pleased when the guy I could care less about takes out a guy I'm rooting for. It's not disgusting because Ruben won, but because my fave lost, but you are right, better player on the day won, I've moved on.

Also, hoping for the best possible results from your faves isn't stupid, because that's what a fan is supposed to do, hope for the best. I expect the most out of my favorites, it's disappointing if they lose, but like I said, oh well, that's tennis. I hope for Dustin now!
