Mark and Wimbledon

Despite his ratpoo recent form, I think last years finalist still needs a thread for his entry into the tournament this year

Heres hoping he can step it up and get himself out of the dumps

First round looks good, but even against a qualifier I guess we cant be too sure

Re: Mark and Wimbledon

Great win Mark!

Hopefully they'll show some of the match when coverage starts here...right about now!

So havent seen any of it yet, but from the stats, Rochus seemed to be getting alot of his first serves in (83%), which still didnt even dent Mark

I should really be studying for an exam tomorrow, but I'll have to stay around to see if they have his match on tv

Well done Mark! He will now face the winner of the Martin Verkerk v Nikolay Davydenko match which Verkerk is currently 2-1 up in sets and on serve in the 4th.

It was a very exciting match of Sjeng!

Maybe they will show a bit of Mark his match later on today.

Watched in on BBC too already and since Sjengs style of play doesn't appeal to me in any way, his matches still can't get my attention for longer than half an hour in total even if it would be 15-13 in the fifth ...

Re: Mark and Wimbledon

ah well, it was a good run for Mark

too bad Henman had to play a blistering match

But it was a great one nonetheless, and even a few good laughs too

Re: Mark and Wimbledon

Tim serve was unbelievable. I expected Mark to have an upperhand on his service games, but it hardly posed any problems for Tim.
