Re: Montreal Entry List (T/K)

Any chance of bernie tomic getting a wildcard after his great form at wimby as the cut off point is to late for his post wimbledon ranking to take affect for this masters event

His ranking would still be too low to qualify for this even taking his Wimby points into account. And iirc they generally give WildCards to Canuck's here.

Re: Montreal Entry List (T/K)

Frank Dancevic will get a WC(common knowledge, nothing official), I'm expect Vasek Pospisil, and peter Polansky to get a WC each. The last could go to a foriegn player because no other canadian is really that deserving, but if they do give 4 to canucks I'd expect Bester to get the last

Tomic will be ranked around #70 on July 4th with very few points to defend the rest of the year. Even if his ranking drops a few spots prior to the entry deadline, he should certainly get into the qualifying if he chooses to enter considering the cut-off last year was #284 (plus two on-site alternates):

I need an Aussie to support in Montreal!!
I'll be arriving in Montreal late Saturday night. I might go to the last round of Qualifying on Sunday to get over the jetlag and hopefully see Tomic play.

Vamos Rafa, Troicki, Almagro, Tomic, Baghdatis, Raonic and Verdasco!!

I pretty much agree with you. The only real foreign candidate for the fourth spot would be Hewitt. If I recall correctly, they offered him one a couple of years ago, but he ended up getting in directly that year. Interesting to see if they do it again.

Also, nice to have a player in as a DE, a very rare occurrence.

Nope, that's a worse case scenario that's got out of control as a rumour. Galo Blanco tweeted that it's not true, only official news I've heard is he is out of the DC tie against Ecuador
