You also got to consider the fact that had Soderling not had Federer, going for his only chance at Career slam no less, across the net from him, who knows how well he may have played that day in 2009. You also have the court invader, it might have shaken del po up. So many variables. Soderling was in control of the 2009 WTF match and only just lost in the end. Soderling beat peak Nadal and a great Federer in 2009/2010, back to back RG finals, Del Po has never made back to back shit. I am more than confident Soderling would have beat Delp Po, 4 moderate sets in 2009 final.

Give Murray a break for fuck's sake. He got to six finals and would have converted at least three had he played in Thomas Johansson's generation. Having to play Feder in the first two finals and Novak 2.nothing in the next did not make it easy for him. He was unlucky again at SW19 last year where they closed the roof and allowed the vulture to have his 17th grandcake.

For the poll, Del Potro. Nobody thought he would crack the fedal wall but many people believed until few days ago that Murray would overcome novarer and win his second.

Bollocks
If you check out MTF at the time, there was a mayor sensation that Delpo could do it, because he has proven beforehand that he could and was growing and getting gradually better and better throughout the year. It wasn't a fluke, Delpo showed he was progressing in solid steps that year. So we all felt Delpo had a chance at the Fedal wall, specially against Nadal.
