Re: Qualifying Draw
Simone has a nice draw for two rounds. He just beat Vagnozzi. Donskoy v Alves is very winnable. Zeballos potentially in the final round is also winnable, as Zeba isn't a good returner, but that will be a tough match, and one Simone will have to play well to get through. However, my two upset picks, Bagnis and Vagnozzi are in that section, so I hope that prediction doesn't come true!
Bjorn actually has a good draw to qualify. But I expect him to lose to Reynolds. If he makes it to QR3 then maybe he'll have a shot, but I expect Minar or Bobby to win that section.
Harrison has a very winnable section. Pospisil has been poor, as has Ward and Munoz De La Nava, and Ignatik isn't a clay courter. Marti could qualify from that section I think, the two youngsters have great chances.
Chucho will have a good shot at qualifying but I actually think Junqueira will beat him. We'll see if I'm right.
Marc is in a hard section. Zemlja, then Ungur v Cipolla, then Rosol again or Copil potentially. He'll need to really be on his game and execute. I'm not sure if he's gonna make it.
Edu has a perfect draw full of hard court players. I fully expect him to qualify.
Schoorel has a nice draw, but his R3 opponent can be tricky. I can see Balazs and Souza giving him trouble. If he's on his game, he should qualify.
Simon has a good R1 draw, but he's going to struggle to beat either Stebe or Delic in R2. He's gotta be on his game, but he's got a passable draw and a decent shot at qualifying.
I think the Frenchman Herbert could qualify out of his section. Robert has a good draw but Stadler is dangerous. Andrey Kuznetsov should have a good shot at winning that section also.
Steve also, has to qualify. Dutra is pretty tough potential R2, but that's a very good match-up for Steve. Anything outside of qualifying will be failure in my eyes. Lisnard is half retired but still dangerous to this day, but I can't see why he won't qualify.
