Re: Monte-Carlo Entry List (T/K)

Missing until last entry De Bakker (53):

Söderling, Murray, Berdych, Roddick, Fish, Nalbandian, Isner, Lu Yen Hsun

(Murray, Söderling, Berdych will play Barcelona next week instead)

Also Del Potro didn't use his protected ranking ... except if he's asked a wild-card

useless old guy

Out of those I only miss David.

Re: Monte-Carlo Entry List (T/K)

The only two players that are a major miss for the event are Soderling and Berdych. The other guys are either weak/disinterested about clay, or injured, so therefore their absences are not a major factor.

Maybe Del potro won't play here? His clay season begins in Estoril.

Re: Monte-Carlo Entry List (updated March 15, 2011)

Guess it was a last minute decision for Robin, he had Monte Carlo scheduled on his website earlier. Good choice.

Ljubo, Soderling and Berdych are pretty surprising. All decent clay courters and you'd expect them here.

Also good that Federer is playing this again.

Also Berdych and Soderling live in Monte Carlo. They know that, I don't understand.

Wouldn't be surprised if they waste one WC for Murray again

I hope this. If he could win with injury against Querrey I think he hasn't too serious problem.
Until Monte-Carlo is almost one month rest.

No Del Potro? I am surprised. He'll start his clay season in Estoril, then Madrid, Rome and Roland Garros

Grigor Dimitrov | Rafael Nadal | Juan Martin del Potro | Andy Murray
