I remember that somebody had posted to TF that the Olympic grass was shorter than usual Wimbledon grass. That made the surface faster but also higher bouncing (and higher bounce makes a surface effectively slower). So I wonder if the higher bounce helped JMDP at OG, assuming it really was higher-bouncing.
