Re: 2015 Season

Hoping that he can put in another solid year. I'd like to see him win DC.

Re: 2015 Season

The decline is real.

My theory is that Gimelstob has made the game far too complicated for him, too much thinking about strategy. John needs to keep it simple.

I don't even know what's going on. Just bad.

Re: 2015 Season

Bad loss to Ram today.

With another mediocre performance on the North American hard courts this year, like last summer, then it might be time to evaluate how much longer you want to continue playing tennis.

There does not seem to be much of a point in continuing to spin your wheels approaching your 31st birthday...

Won Atlanta, lost in the final to Kei in DC. Up to 10 in the ATP race.

Re: 2015 Season

Isner finishes at #11, his highest year-end ranking ever. It's his sixth consecutive season in the top 20.

He says he still has room for improvement even at age 30.

Re: 2015 Season

Totally agree on the room for improvement in 2016. This blog post lays it out fairly well: John Isner's Place in American Tennis - Up Two Breaks
