6-2 7-6 over Bogomolov. Nice aggression from John. Anderson is next. Good luck John.

It looked like the heat was getting to him. A bit sluggish to me. Wish he would get a better return of serve- he would be so much harder to beat that way.

The great thing about democracy is that it gives every voter a chance to do something stupid.

Yeah, the heat always does seem to bother Isner more than his opponents. You would think he would be more used to it since he trains in Florida. His return has improved some over the years, but it does have a long way to go. I think he needs to improve his return, backhand, and volleys if he wants to consistently beat top players.

Well done John! Anderson seems very hard opponent, but it's possible sure.

Sadly I didn't watch the match. Well he played good?

He played ok. He will need to step it up. His serve was fantastic today.

Thank you.

I followed (on scoreboard) their doubles match and Isner's serve was also okay always.

You are welcome He looked out of sorts a bit. He isn't a fast tall guy but looked even slower footed out there.

Oh John . Big missed opportunity to make his first Masters QF. Very disappointing result.

John.
John was very unlucky with weather too, I guess. Playing after rain....

The next event will be Houston, they will make the draw on Friday.

Never ever give up
