Autralian Open 2011 - R3 lost to Cilic.

The draw:

[1] Nadal vs Daniel
Q vs Gimeno-Traver
Tomic vs Chardy
Falla vs [31] Lopez

[20] Isner vs Serra
Stepanek vs Gremelmayr
Machado vs Giraldo
Young vs [15] Cilic

I think he will win over Serra, I hope he beat Stepanek and Cilic.
I don't think he can beat Rafa, but I'm very happy If he plays R4 and he can defend his 180 point.

Never ever give up

I agree, but Stepanek could be tough in R2.

I'm glad he got by Serra in straights. He'll need all of his energy against Stepanek... could be a long match. Come on John!

John knocked out Stepanek! The match was easier than I waited.
Next match against Cilic, I looking forward. I think it's possible. Good luck Johnny!

Re: Autralian Open 2011. R3 vs. Cilic

It was a long match that's for sure. I only watched the first set. John won it but just barely imo. Too many baseline rallies for John whose movement at the back of the court is just one step too slow to get into those rallies. And he had opportunities to break more but was very passive on his shots at those times. Oh well. Next stop!

Marin played better when it counted btw. I like him as well so a win-win situation for me.
