Re: John Isner

Isner lost a game after wasting MP again, but this time he had own serve in reserve Third time lucky, it could have been a nightmare to lose 3 matches in a row having match point.

Re: John Isner

Good job Isner.

Davydenko next. Querrey had him beat at Indian Wells and choked.

This is a match you can win if you play well. Good luck.

Re: John Isner

This story is pretty funny. There's a video too.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...e=hruby/080415

I got served: Facing John Isner and a 140-mph tennis ball
My reproductive organs remain intact. Mostly by accident. ... At 6-foot-9, John Isner presents an imposing figure. Oh, and he serves really hard. ...

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Three weeks ago he played in the Bermuda challenger. Won a match, then lost to Spadea.

Last week he played at the Tunica Resorts challenger. Won two matches and lost to Carsten Ball in the quarterfinals.

Taking this week off, then playing next week in Poertschach, followed by the French Open.
