Re: Season Ending 2011- Asian Swing

Kohli wins 7-6(6) 2-6 7-6(6) after saving Match Point. He was also 1-3 down in the 3rd. So a big fight, after a real Struggle. But he won and thats the most important thing!

He plays Robredo in Round 1. A really good draw, because Robredo comes back from injury and hasn't played on a relativefast hard court yet!

Kohli has to play Berdych next. No chance in my opinon. One of the biggest mismatch he could get.

Re: Season Ending 2011- Asian Swing

i just wish he didnt have both berdych and verdasco in his draw. There are sections here where the draw has completely fallen apart and he could use a deep run for confidence here.

However, he did surprise us in cincinnatti when he took out roddick and lopez..maybe he can pull off something like that again here

He can beat Verdasco, but the problem is the guy, who he is facing next!

Re: Season Ending 2011- Asian Swing

Got destroyed by Berdych 2-6 0-6. Thats what happens when you have no confidence, no form and your serve doesn't work against a Top 10 player.

Kohli withdrew from Shanghai. So maybe he wasn't fit in that Match. At least he doesn't get a penalty 0, because he was only on the ALT List.

I saw his two matches in qualify, part of 1st round and practice. His serve looks has some problem, he uaually relax his right shoulder during the match and practice. Other reason for yesterday's lost, I think he is not suit to play at night in Beijing, it was very very very cold. Before 2nd round, Kohli's matches were arranged in the noon or afternoon, huge temperature difference with night. However, Berdych just finish his 1st round at night. Anyway, at least he earn points in Beijing. Wish Kohli everything is OK!!

Kohli practiced on 10/3, and Stephan helped him to adjust serve
