Thanks! Not a great field I think.
The original cut-off is 240. Last year the final cut-off was 366 and players like Niland, Masson, Burzi, Cakl, Junaid, Armstrong, Westerhof and Fornell made the cut. Now I know the field will get a lot worse due to the timing of the Alphen Challenger, but it seems that they are profiting from the fact that there is not a German Challenger in the same week this year, and that the Donetsk Challenger just got cancelled. They are only competing with Genova, Sevilla and St. Remy right now. Genova will get the bigger names, but Alphen is not doing too badly.
I wish I could go. It's a really nice event, and I strongly recommend any Dutch posters to visit. It's also got a women's ITF event, so there are many matches to choose from. The organization is pretty good, catering is good too and you can easily interact with players should you want to.
