You misunderstand what I meant.
2011 was exceptional in every sense, yes. What I meant re: 2012 was that he had a very successful year, playing to a consistently high level but this was undercut by losses in finals that he should (or could) have won. It's difficult to know, as a Nole fan, whether to be happy with the level he played at or slightly disappointed that he was very close to having another year comparable with 2011.
