November 28, the eve of the International Day of Disabled Persons, in Nizhny Novgorod will be an action in support of people with disabilities "Accessible Nizhny."

"In today's megacities, as is Nizhny Novgorod, there are all the comforts of life, but there is a category of people for whom those services are not available - it is disabled. To them, the quality of their lives, their socialization is the subject of our action. On the eve of the International Day of Disabled Persons, we want to draw attention of the public and the authorities to ensure that wheelchair users are locked up at home, because the city does not create conditions for their movement "- say the organizers.
Similar events regularly take place in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Public figures, famous artists, athletes and journalists sit in wheelchairs and with disabilities move around the city to check whether a disabled person to get yourself to the store or clinic, use an ATM, go down the street or in the subway.
