Re: What Will YOU remember the 2012 Season for in 20 years?
Even without the result, must say the Olympics at Wimbledon. That place will never look like that again.
The British summer. The triple of the low of the Wimbledon final (that it may be Federer's last GS would add), the insanity of Murray's Olympic week culminating with beating that same guy in the gold medal match, and finally the end of the British Grand Slam drought will all be tied in together.
Djokovic playing close to 11 hours of tennis in his last two matches at the Australian Open.
Andy Roddick retiring, especially if you go on the assumption that American men's tennis will continue to slide. I'll also add on Roddick's last match against Federer, because history will keep that "rivalry" in mind.
Andy Murray: 2012 Olympic gold and silver medalist. US Open Champ. Wimbledon champ. Never been prouder of him.
The Brian Baker Story. Proof that truth is stranger than fiction... until Hollywood buys the rights and proceeds to keep screwing the script up.
