Re: Tennis Tipping #44a - Geneva - Wednesday OOP out!

Tuesday recap

One more day with upsets. Our last seed in the tournament is already gone by the QFs in singles. Scientists from nearby CERN were called to evaluate this situation, and they have officially given it the status of "statistical anomaly".

One of the highlights of the day was Don Corleone's victory over ESimp. The Brazilian keeps showing a lot of promise for the future, being quite new to TT and already gathering some decent results. One to watch.

The best match of the day was sfar's epic victory against Kev. Even if the Australian performed to a very good level, there was nothing that could be done against an in-form sfar, who now sees an open draw and will try to take advantage of it.

In the secondary courts, the doubles tournament got its first round to a conclusion. The partnership of Zeli15 and Kev. appears as a force, even if the top seeds haven't been tested yet. A curious situation on Court 2: Deathless Mortal's partner juakos17 decided he had enough mid-way through and left the Croat to fend for himself. In a remarkable display of sportsmanship, DM stayed on court and gave the opponents a run for their money before being ultimately defeated.
