Re: Monday results

Did Chang win or lose? I'm getting several sources telling me that he lost, but for some reason something else is making me believe he won

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Monday results

Yahoo and some other website made a mistake and said Chang won it. If online bookmakers made a mistake and said Chang won, they correct the situation and give the money the next day.

some other results...

Kiefer def. P.-H. Mathieu 4-6,7-6,6-3

Robredo (3) def. Acasuso 2-6,6-3,7-5

Nieminen def. F. Lopez 6-3, 1-1 (ret.)

Has Mathieu never been the same after that DC final loss or am I imagining things? Kiefer seems to be playing a bit better lately in any case...

Hopefully, nothing too serious for Lopez...

The official reason is stomach illness. It seems lots of player have this problem this year.

He was injured for a long time up to now. Actually he has began to pick up a bit - last week he beat Robredo - but is still a long way from what he was last year.

Thank you Lee and Yoel etc. for the answers.

I'm glad it looks like nothing too serious for Lopez. He's playing well and has a chance to do some damage at the Open.

You are right about the stomach ailments. There have been many this year, particularly at the U.S. tournaments.

Hopefully, a now healthy PHM's game will continue to mend. He needs a few more wins like against Robredo to get back some confidence too, I think.

Re: Monday results

Am I correct in thinking that Paul Henri Mattieu is going to fall out of the top 100 when he fails to defend his titles after the USO?

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.
