hahahhha , yeah you are right, actually they are playing as intro music the melody "Also sprach Zarathustra" by Franz Schubert. it's the same melody played as intro music in the movie "2001 a space oddisey" :retard:
the background and animation are just pathetic!!!!!!
even the more bizarre "sci-fi" sites haven't such a ridiculous intro

About the content... well It sucks big time! Till the moment there are not many info about the tournament, I mean "useful info"
well, At least the intro is funny

My PC sound card isn't working so I'm not hearing anyhting. To me, the site just takes a lot of time to come up. If there won't be any live results after all the trouble they put for the introduction...

Re: Long Island website

The site is pathetic. Does it have anything of value at all? It doesn't even feature a qulifying draw. How lame is that? Especially since the qualifiers include quite a few high-profile players. I have zero expectations about live scores. Very disappointing.

Re: Long Island website

Richard Strauss --- Please. not Franz Schubert

I know I'm being a music snob, but that one made me sort of shudder.

The site is crap but still better than the Newport site.

It doesn't have live score like in GS or TMS but it was updated every game.
