Re: Djokovic hasn't beaten a fellow member of the Big 4 since early June...

Bump.

After 3 losses to Nadal, 2 to Fed, and 2 to Murray: streak broken. 5-7, 7-6, 6-3. And it only took 5 championship points saved with unreal tenacity to do it. Djokovic was behind in winners for most of the Shanghai final, but ended with 32 > 30 from Murray.

I know this is "only" TMS Shanghai, but a big mental accomplishment for Nole to overcome Andy today. Particularly as he had lost five consecutive sets vs. the Brit that went to 5-5, and was one point away from losing a sixth. Didn't want this to become a huge mental block for him going into 2013.

For all those who say June-Sept isn't a long time, remember it's the heart of the tennis season and featured 4/5 of 2012's biggest events.
