LOL. I hadn't watched the match when I first read that comment, and was expecting a dead net cord on match point. But no, it was at 2-1 in the decider, admittedly on a break point. But as Andy broke Wawa again that set it hardly had an effect on the final result.
What happened to Stan, the guy was a top 10 player 4 years ago, making alot of finals, looked like he was maybe going to be pretty good, has a nice game, since then others have passed him, seems like he hasn't improved much, is he mentally not that strong too?
The single break Stan got in the second set was a complete gift from murray, double faults and unforced errors, but he showed a lot of grit other wise, saving a whole bunch of break points early in sets 1 and 3.
What kind of trickery did wawrinka use to win the 2nd set?! We obviously know murray, the slam champion, would never lose a set to a mug like wawrinka in normal conditions.
P.S.: Am so scared for Roger in shanghai. murray, the slam champion, will destroy him if they meet....
no, no .... the correct score should be 6:0, 6:0. You are 17yo, but really acting as a toddler (I mean that's where your intelect is). well, have a nice day
Andy might as well have some fun, he's had more pressure on his shoulders this summer than any other player on tour. He deserves to relax a bit and enjoy the fruits of his labour during the Asian swing.
In fact I'd like to see him try more new things against Raonic.
Nothing new here, Murray usually struggles with Wawa but ends up winning.
