Novak, Andy and Juan will be there long enough to own him until he gets past his peak and starts getting owned by the younger guys. He can maybe be a 1-slam-wonder, 2 slams MAX, but he has to get on a much higher level and I don't see how bcs he doesn't have good enough return game and is not improving it to avoid close sets and tbs, and when you play as much tight matches, you are bound to lose 1 in a few (7?)...

You're right, but age is not the only criterion one should consider, mileage and number of years at the top level are nearly as importants.

Ferrer is born in 1982 but he's consistent in the top since 2005-2006 only, while Roddick, despite being born the same year, is a force since 2001-2002.

Raonic is in the scene since a few months while Djokovic has many more miles in the legs.

2012 Raonic is comparable with 2006 Djokovic. Djokovic is only 3 years older (note that Raonic is born in december) but he has played 6 more years than Rao.
