Re: Qualifying Draw

Not a bad draw for Greg Jones. I hope he can make it.

Re: Qualifying Draw

Will be interesting to see what Bloomers does here...definitely got the weaker section of the draw. Russell is a tough opener, but Kunitsyn is beatable. Fast conditions should suit him, so hopefully he can play to a good standard to give himself a respectable chance.

I'm hoping also for Greg Jones. Anderson/Nishikori will be nice, although it would have been nice if both could make the MD (might still happen if LL).

Re: Qualifying Draw

According to the OOP, matches should have started at 10:00 am local time, but the time there now is 10:10 am and already 3 matches have completed.
Is the OOP wrong? Are the results fake?

no, it is already more than 1 pm local time. I think you confused between Washington - the state and Washington D.C. This tournament is in Washington D.C.

Re: Qualifying Draw

I hope Kei beats Anderson tomorrow. Don has a really good draw and should win tomorrow. Somdev should definitely beat Kim tomorrow, but that could be a tough match, they play similar, Somdev will have to be a little more aggressive than usual.

I want Mikey to beat Kunitsyn, but I expect Igor to upset him and win.

Re: Qualifying Draw

Wow, Somdev lost to Kim. I'm not overly surprised, but that is a terrible loss. Especially losing 1-6 in the third. I think Somdev was injured, at least it had that feel to it. Maybe he'll get a LL position.

Kunitsyn def. Russell 6-3 6-4
Dabul def. Sijsling 6-0 6-0

Re: Qualifying Draw

Geez, Don lost also. Sucks, Grega is a player he needs to beat if he wants to get back to where he was a few years ago and more. At least Kei won today.

I'm guessing there will be several LL positions in this event.
