Re: Tennis Austria

First round looks good for Jürgen. Alberto Martin on grass should be really beatable for him, he can be happy with first round.

2nd round could be more problems if Novak is going to make it. If Haas wins against Novak there is another chance for him because Haas doesn't like grass a lot.

Maybe he is doing something in this tournament!

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Let's hope that he'll get better soon.
If you read his diary entry you will know why he didn't play at his best.
He was sick ...

Re: Tennis Austria

Damn idiot! I paid that guy to mess with the food of a certain player in Queens this week! Remind me next time not to tell him who my least favourite player is

Just kidding. (I'm referring to Hewitt if you didn't guess )
Hope he feels better soon. I'm sure he will. Very glad to see he came back from being down in the third. Woo!

Re: Tennis Austria

Haas def. Jürgen 6-2 3-6 6-4

unnecessary choke from Jürgen!
getting broken two times in a row at the end of the third set was really bad I guess
but I can't say any more details because the match was not shown on TV anymore because the earlier matches took so long already and their time run out and they also had to show a live soccer match later

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Re: Tennis Austria

For Jurgen to come back after losing the first set so badly is a good sign for all the fans who support him. It was heartbreaking to see him get broken twice at the end.

I imagine the fans were totally supporting Haas and it is sometimes difficult in those situations to play your best.

He did well to come back and i expect to see him do well at Wimbledon providing he gets a decent draw.

Re: Tennis Austria

Jürgen isn't on the seeding list - that's a pity.
But I think if he has luck with the draw - everything's possible

wish him good luck

You are correct. With a good draw wonderful things can happen. The same can be said for Stefan Koubek. He is just trying to come back now and needs a good first round match that he can win and build confidence.

In doubles, we have two teams to cheer for. Jurgen and Julian Knowle are one pair and Austrian Alex Peya is teamed with a Swede, Robert Lindstedt. Hope both teams have success.
