Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

3 positions isn't too bad for someone that far down in the rankings. It's common for people to fall or rise over 20 spots in a week, so I'm not too worried.

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

It's just another terrible draw, Serguei will face the 2nd seeded Ryderstedt in Round 1.

But he also play doubles with another Belarussian Egor Puntus. They're seeded 4th. Good luck, Serquei! Come on!

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

Well Serguei is awesome, so he can beat Ryderstat or whatever his name is. And good luck to him in the doubles too.

Michael RYDERSTEDT (SWE) (2) defeated Serguei TARASEVITCH (BLR) 63 60

I wonder what's going on in doubles...

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

Oh damn, I'm so shattered. I hope the doubles goes better for Serguei. At least he's getting match play, he's still got so much ahead of him because he's so talented

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

It just seems that Serguei is like a lot of my favorite players--they always get such bad draws

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

At least some great news: Serguei and Egor became the runner-up of the doubles tournament
They failed only in final to 1st seeded

Next week Serguei plays another future in Vilnius.
Lithuania F2 - Vilnius (14 Aug)
Good luck!

Good run for Serguei in the Doubles at least And you know the more Match play he gets whether it's in Singles or Doubles has to be good for a player in his position I think I will have to start posting Serguei's Doubles' ranking also, if he is ranked in Doubles' Play

As of 08/14/06 the ATP Site shows Serguei's Singles' ranking as #990 which is down 3 positions While his Doubles' ranking is #795 which is down 5 positions Serguei can't seem to get moving in the right direction

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

Brilliant, I'm so glad that he won. Nadie keep in mind though that dropping 3 spots that low in the rankings isn't too bad, there is a lot of 50 place jumps and things like that. Nadie I really appreciate everything you've been doing in this thread. Thanks heaps

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

he lost in second round.

But in doubles Serguei makes it brilliant! According to atptennis.com he is the runner-up of this week tournament too. And today they'll play in the final.
Good luck

Re: Serguei Tarasevitch

Shame about the singles, but mabye he'll follow in Miryni's footsteps and have some great doubles success. That would be fine by me

P.S. Miryni is such a sweetheart.
