Re: Konstantinos Economidis

Eco
Maybe he will get Protected Ranking for Athens Challenger or will he have to qualify or he will get a wildcard? If he gets a wildcard, what about Maza, Jaku, Kleftakos, and Paris. Maybe Kallias but he plays for Cyprus so maybe QWC

Marcos Baghdatis Forever!

Through the good and the bad, always my #1, no matter what the rankings say

Re: Konstantinos Economidis

Kostas is playing qualifying at the Challenger in Rabat, Morocco this weekend
I'm so proud of him. To be honest, I thought this was the end for him. Here is the draw:

Martin Alund ARG [1] has a Bye
Jan Hajek CZE vs. Badr Ouabdelmoumen MAR [WC]
Rabie Chaki MAR [WC] vs. Romano Frantzen NED
Mohamed Saber MAR vs. Alexander Jakupovic GRE [8]

Carlos Poch-Gradin ESP [2] has a Bye
Alessandro Motti ITA vs. Dusan Karol CZE
Nick van der Meer NED vs. Omar Erramy MAR
Malek Jaziri TUN vs. Andrea Arnaboldi ITA [7]

Alberto Brizzi ITA [3] has a Bye
Hicham Khaddari MAR [WC] vs. Andre Baran BRA
Youssef Blila MAR [WC] vs. Antonio Comporto ITA
Ismael Lahlou MAR [WC] vs. Guillermo Olaso ESP [6]

Oleksandr Dolgopolov Jr. UKR [4] vs. Konstantinos Economidis GRE
Mikhail Vasiliev RUS vs. Reda Karakhi MAR
Yassir Bouyahya MAR [WC] vs. Mourad Bennani MAR [WC]
Benoît Paire FRA vs. Iñigo Cervantes-Huegun ESP [5]

Pame!!!!!!!

EDIT-He will probably play doubles with Jakupovic. They make a great pair. On Monday, his doubles rank will take a large fall, as he couldn't defend his 150 points from the ATP Las Vegas semi last year
Maybe he can defend those points with a win here

Re: Konstantinos Economidis

Eco will play in the MD in 2 weeks in a Turkish future, then another Turkish future, and then the Athens Challenger.
But first, he's in qualies at the Marrakech CH this weekend:
Tomorrow, he'll face 7th seeded Adrian Mendenez-Maceiras of Spain in QR1.
Pame

Also, his doubles rank this week dropped from 301 to 467

Re: Konstantinos Economidis

A short article:

Basically, it says that Kostas is back on the courts after five months, and that he lost. It also says that he is expected to get a WC (MD) into the Status Athens Open
