Noam Okun

Did he have a thread already?
In terms of tennis, I like his style.
Superficially, I like the look of him And, he seems pleasant enough. Here are some pics from Sydney this week....

Re: Noam Okun

Thanks for the thread. Unfortunately I don't think Noam is ever going to make it into the top 100 again. I see him playing challengers now. Have a great time. And maybe you'll get a picture with him as well. He seems very approachable.

The great thing about democracy is that it gives every voter a chance to do something stupid.

Lost in the first round of the qualies.
Dudi Sela and Harel Levy made it into second round though. Sorry Kristen I hijacked the thread a bit

Re: Noam Okun

Not a problem!!! I just thought he should have a place of his own It's unlikely I'll follow his year too closely, but I will definitely check in from time to time

Re: Noam Okun

Noam Okun is a solid player. He has a nice one handed backhand. I've watched his matches at the 2004 & 2005 U.S. Opens. He comes to the courts with headphones abd it's very easy to approach him after the match. Unfortunately, he always hangs around in the mid 100's rankings. But hey, I have to show support for the Israelis, since I lived in Israel.

I support them cuz I am Jewish. And andyoni are nice guys. Heard from others that Noam/Dudi/Harel are also nice to fans. Off topic but our screen-names are somewhat related

Yes, we Jews and Israelis support Israeli players because they are our players!
The Israeli players are very calm and relaxed on the court, very nice guys, unlike some other players who scream and gesture and curse on the court, lol.
