Spoke to Noam in Cincy this past week. He was there to practice, support his friends, and work out with his coach. He was injured for a while earlier this year, kind of a upper hip/stomach muscle pull. He is looking forward to the USO qualies and hopes to play well there. He is also getting married in October (and I had to tease him about that, being all grown up and settled down now). Not sure how much longer he is going to play, he's so talented it's a shame he hasn't been able to put it all together and make a good run into the Top 100.
Did you ask him what he was going to do after tennis pro days were over?
I asked him one question and got a one sentence response
He was probably thinking who the hell is this old woman?
I was thinking good grief at least this old woman knows who you are
I wish him well in the USOpen qualies
